Angry Mach 1 Grill Delete Install ~ NIGHTMARE!!!

First off I'm not an idiot, but after this you may think I am. Well I was sick of looking at my new Crill delete, and even though I didn't feel like doing it I figured what the heck it's an easy install. Well everything was going well, and then my wife came down to help me put the final peice on, when she slid the "base"under the bumper cover both mounting tabs snapped off, they are glued not part of the peice it self. I tried to put two sided 3M molding tape on but it still was able to move, the two pins on the top of the bumper cover is just not enough to hold it securly. Does anyone have any insight on what I can do to make this work?

Mine has nothing but the two pins at the top and double sided tape holding it on. It's been holding tight for about 6 years now.

How thick is the tape? If you remember. I tried two sided molding tape, but the tape seemed too thin to hold. It was also pretty damn cold in the garage.

Couldn't tell you. I'm pretty sure it was just regular 3m double sided foam type tape.

The OEM one is on by tape I believe. By the description of yours, did you get it from AM?

Anyway, Use that 3m double sized foam type tape. Thats what I used. Cut like 3" pieces and then loop it to make it thicker
