new shifter?

I have a Steeda Tri ax. I've had two and if and when I get a new stang I'll get a new one.

You can ask purp, tdcalhoun, or anyone else that's ever felt my shifter. Feels like stock. And yea, if you're going from a t45 stock shifter to aftermarket you will feel a difference. Going from my 98 gt with the stock shifter to the 02 gt with the stock shifter, there was a world of difference! T3650's came with a decent alignment spring and were not a terrible shifter. I bought just the base from a friend. If I hadn't bought it for $50, I would have went mgw without a doubt. Pro 5.0 handle is going on sometime today so I will let you all know if that appeases me.

Basically the shifter levers point of pivot is higher or whatever....plain old mechanical advantage. Thats why all aftermarket shifters require a slight bit more muscle to shift gears compared to stock...

I used to have an MGW, then I switched to a Hurst Billet/Plus and love it
