Default quick understanding about mustangs

hi guys, i am planning on buying a 1999 mustang GT this week and i have a car that i consider wanting to sound exactly just alike. i'm very un experienced with mustangs so i don't know what this car has. i do understand that he has a flowmaster 44, but is that all? because i do see GT's with super 44's and sounds different

I think he has a UPR Off Road X pipe. It's emissions illegal, but it'll give you that sound. I have a 99 GT with Flowmaster Super 44's, and I'd love to get an O/R X. His car sounds great.

You will also need to install the offroad x pipe yourself. It is illegal to take the cats off cars. So you will not be able to take it to a exhaust shop etc. I only say this because you say your un-experienced. Also running without cats you will need a tuner

Anything pertaining to vehicles that says offroad, or off road use only, is not legal for use on the road. So if you live in a state that does inspection/emissions this will be something you will need to think about.

Ok New Jersey is probably like Connecticut then. I assume you get the paper in the mail. Then they only give you so much time to bring it to a state authorized emission test station. If you go on youtube there is alot of exhaust videos that show the exhaust sound for cat back systems.
