rear shocks for drag?
Im in need of some new rear shock mine now are making a hell of a sound like almost if they were loose but at 120k miles and these are stock i know they are shot, i have strange 10 ways up front, and they make alot of clunking with CC plates, anyone have the stranges in the rear? how do they sound? what about lakewood 50/50s i used to see them everywhere now only summit carries them? i dont want to get bilsteins or tokicos because this car goes in striaght lines and im getting a truck and making this a full track car in the summer

Any drag-oriented suspension component is going to be noisey. 90/10s make some noises, as well as 50/50s out back. Its not the end of the world, and it doesnt sound like the car is going to fall apart...its just normal. They work amazing however. with decetn suspension and gears, you can cut 1.60s pretty easily.. and I guarantee the left front tire comes off the ground

I like my strange 10ways, the ability to have some adjustment is nice. Like fox said, you're not going to get a race oriented setup without noise, they make race suspension to perform, not to provide creature comforts. How serious of a track car are you looking to make it?

Adjustability is key if you want to make your car perform to it's full potential. I have strange 10-ways all around, and I will admit that my fronts are noisy as hell at anything below like 5-6 clicks. The rears have never made a sound.
Lakewood 50/50s are a decent cheap solution......but they are cheap for a reason. I have never seen a set that didn't start leaking within a few thousand miles. If all you are looking for is a 50/50, just keep your stock ones LOL.
