i would recommend ditching both the wot and rpm window switch for a hsw microedge controller. It is thee ****. works as both, plus has lots of other features like hooking into a wideband and if it goes lean it'll cut the nitrous, you can activate the fuel solenoid a tad before the nitrous solenoid to avoid lean spikes, you can turn off gears so you only spray once you hit second, or there's a launch delay so after you launch it'll wait a certain amount of seconds and then spray.

also a remote bottle opener is in no way needed. it's only there so if it's in the trunk you can open it without getting out of the car. a purge kit is not needed either. however a remote bottle opener is greatly recommended.

Exactly which NX kit are you guys suggesting? ...and is there a problem with the ZEX kit? I have been thinking about adding a ZEX kit to my car for 1320' trips.

nothing wrong with the zex kit. but if you put in the 100 horse jets you're not gonna pick up 100 horse. only reason i dont like zex.

here's the 2 kits i'd get first before zex, just imo.

Zex makes a decent introductory kit, but NOS and NX are the best IMO.

I use a zex wet. The jets are under-rated so I just step up to the next size. I have a zex dry kit with everything but bottle and manifold jet. I think dry kits need direct injection but I am no expert

I should have mentioned it's for sale. A zex 175 hp jet is actually a little less than 150 at the wheels. I like it because it's easy but there are better systems sure....but cost more. I like my zex kit but I am by no means an experienced racer or anything......yet

Just wonder if anyone here has the mach 1000 and the nitrous bottle installed in the trunk? Does the bottle opening have to point towards the front of the car or can point another way?

i'm sure it can be pointed any direction as long as its mounted on an angle. i had my bottle installed right behind my passenger seat, which means it was perpendicular to the car and it did just fine.
