Default 03-04 Cobra Rear Bumper

Picked up an OEM rear bumper for 175 today. Dropped it off at an auto body and they said they couldn't fill the cobra because "it wouldn't hold up"

Anyone in Jersey Philadelphia area know a good place to take it? If I can't get it filled I'll flip it.

good deal- ask around.

those bumpers are hard to fill, since they flex a lot.

You have to cut the letters out and melt/plastic weld them back in with reinforcing mesh to do it right. It can be done but it's a pain in the *** compared to a typical bumper repaint or small repair. Just find a shop that does semi-custom work and not just a typical body shop because they'll most likely tell you the same thing. Keep in mind it'll be a good amount of labor, but worth it.

So I've called around and I give up. My friend who did the IRS swap with me got rear ended last week. He's going to see how much insurance is giving him for a new bumper and taking 100 off that and buying the one I have. He'll have another 100 to put toward something during his fix and I'll make a good chunk. WIN WIN!!!

with two threads saying cobra something Its too much anyway haha. Next week my MM order will be

- non-offset control arms
- coil overs all around
maybe a few other goodies.
