Default 2v to 4v swap

i am wanting to do a 2v to 4v swap but i am not sure what would be the best route. I also need to know if i can use my 2000 gt factory computer in the swap or if i have to have something different. I will be starting from the ground up with a new/used block.

See if you can find an aluminum block from a 96-98 cobra. They are a goof bit lighter than any other block. Get forged internals, port the heads, decent cams and spin that bitch to the moon.

You can use your factory PCM, but ull need a serious tune.

and i believe the hold more HP than the other blocks.... but its not like most of the people are going to get to the HP limit of the other blocks... and yes you can use your stock PCM... just need a new tune... as far as I know you need an alternator for the 4Vs, you can re-use your coils...

To use your factory PCM you will need a tune, and IMRC deletes on a 96-98 4v.

It will run on the GT computer, but it really does need a tune to get the most out of it. You could wire up an RPM window switch to activate the IMRC's.

when im building the motor does it matter what heads i use, and when buying a blower what would i buy one for 96-98, 99, 01-02, or 03-04, or with the heads ported would it really matter. before the motor goes into the car it will be a stroked and blown, and im not sure what parts to buy for frakenmotor.
