Default Short Throw Shifter @ American Muscle

I was just cruising the American Muscle site and ran across the Presidents Sale they are having. I have been wanting a short throw shifter and they have one for the tr-3650 tranny on sale. Its $80 off! Ordered it right away. Can't wait until it gets here.

Good Buy. I paid like $200 for my steeda tri-ax shifter a few years back from AM. Short Throw shifters FTW..

does a short throw shifter really improve shifting that much? I want to get one but I've gotten so good at power shifting with my stock shifter it doesn't appeal to me that much. I shift in the blink of an eye practicily without the short throw

You know that's harmful to your synchro's right?

And yes short throw shifters are pretty awesome. I have a B&M kit myself. It's short and accurate. No wiggling. Reminds me of the shifter on an old Ferrari.

I too have the Steeda short throw shifter as well. Has anyone noticed a faint rattling or vibration from the short throw shifter ? Is that normal ?
