Default Tire symmetery

Just got some tires on the fronts, my passenger side was showing threads and died earlier today. Went with 245/40/18. My rears are currently 285/35/18 and let me tell you, the lack of symmetry is bothering me, bothering me tremendously! Just ranting. I'll buy some rears soon, to please me and the symmetry Gods. /rant ugh

Just do a big burnout and destroy your rear tires to give you an excuse to hurry up and get new ones! Then post the video up here!

STFU

What's wrong with staggered wheels?!

I'm on the market for some new fronts. I found a set of used Goodyear F1's on CL for 125!! I think I'm gonna go for it.

He means the tire profile is different. One is 35 and the other is 40.

To answer your question, no I'm not. I consider these wheels for more show than performance. Therefore, a nitto tire on these wheels I see as wasted money. I found a set of good year that were 285/40/18 for $163 each. These wheels are not ideal for performance or the track. I do have a stock pair of Bullitts that are 17x8 that I plan on using for the track. Those will be fitted with some form of track tire i.e. nitto nt05 or m.t. e.t. streets.

That's how it should be. I'm amazed at how many people don't know how aspect ratio works.

If the rears were 40 then the rear tires would be taller than the fronts.

By symmetry I'm assuming he means brand or something.

Maybe symmetry was the wrong word, I just meant that the fronts look bigger than the rear (which is irriatating me). My last set up was 255/35/18 and the front and rear looked about the same size. I am merely going off of the basis of how it looks and if it's pleasing to my eye. Am I that much of a noob? lol

My rear are 315/35/17 and front are 275/40/17.

I've got the sidewall figured out.
