craigslist paxton s/c. Worth it?

over the next year trying to get some stuff together. Just need some advice. would have my friends rebuild it for me. Is this nice? worth getting? should I hold off for another?

I hear the 1000 is kind of a crappy version... I think you would ideally want the 2000.
