Default Winter build Progress...PICS!

so i'm halfway into my winter build. i thought id show my progress.

new t56 with a MGW and 26 spline input

26 spline input

baffling the tank for my dual cobra pumps and 40amp BAP

intercooler installed and motor level.

66mm bb turbo i may or may not keep

blury pic of the qa1 k member.

coil overs on bilsteins

x pipe and whats left of the cat back i was running LOL sounded good at least

stock wheels and tires that i need to get some drag radials for

A/c is out turned the black a/c cylinder in the back into a catch can.


i still need to order the A arms and a boost controller. and once i sell my supercharger i'm ordering the hot/cold side. and i'm going to run a tial wastegate and Bov. i just ordered a Spec stg 3 so thats on its way so i can finally get that tranny in.thats where i'm at right now.

Wow bro...thats one hell of alot of work! How did you learn to do all of that? What kind of power are you looking to put down once its all done?

idk i'm hoping to make 600 but i think 540-580 is more beliveable on pump gas. also going to do a 110 tune

Nice, its gonna be a fun ride for sure. Speaking from experience, make sure you don't bend/tweak the fuel level float when putting the dual cobras in. I messed mine up so I have to fix it when it gets warm out. My gauge reads full when I have like 6 gallons of gas in it lol.

lol. i'm doing the write up that u posted for the GT gas tank baffles. did that work out fine for you? did u do it just like it was written up? and did u go dual fpdms?

Yea I did it like the writeup except I ended up breaking away more of the plastic bucket because the pumps didn't seem to sit right. I'm running stock fpdm with my BAP. My tuner said he's never had a problem using a stock fpdm...I read I needed one but IDK lol

Nice, that'll be a beast when your all done. I think your the first one on here ive seen actually make good progress on a winter build... and its February!
