Looking to Trade my IRS rear for a solid 8.8 axle years 01-04?

The rear was just rebuilt probably 1,000 miles ago. It has a brand new carrier, clutches, and spiders. It has fresh seals, axle bearings, and pinion bearings.

Forgot to mention, I have a set of 4.10's that I am putting in it tonight. Whatever gear set you want, I will install and set them up before we swap.

If you lived on the west coast I'd swap them out for you!

My buddy has an 03 Cobra, we wants to do the swap but wants a 9" differential.

Honestly, for the power I'm making IRS would hold up fine, plus my car is an auto to there isn't that harsh shock as if I was dropping the clutch.

Fail I plan on launching my car at 5k+ this year and I will be close to 700 rwhp on my IRS

How much money have you put into ur irs? how many times do u think it will launch before it breaks? im wondering bc i still havent swapped and everyone else is telling me to go solid ? interested
