Default Ford GT pump limitations?

Ok so with a 150 wet shot will that be pushing the limits of a Ford GT fuel pump w/ my setup??

Because w/ the 6061 AND a 150 shot ill be needing to replace it anyways...is there a better option out there??

I think Ox told me that pump is good for around 425-450.

With a shot like that I think maybe you should look into a separate fuel setup just for the nitrous. That way you could eliminate the lean spike.

a lot of guys run dual Ford GT pumps. I know for a fact that duals, without any voltage bump, can support 750rwhp.

Well do i need a new had and such for dual pumps? How do i go about mounting them.

And seperate fuel sytem? That sounds a bit complicated...like fuel tank and all??

Not complicated at all. 1 gallon fuel cell to put in the trunk, fuel pump, lines and adapters. I haven't researched so I don't know everything needed but I think the 1 gallon fuel cells come with the fuel hats.

The guy with the 04 Orange GT over on Corral that has the direct port nitrous setup with Nick's Stage 3 heads has a setup like the mentioned above for his 200 shot.

I was talking to my tuner about seperate fuel system just for nitrous and he said itll cost ~ $800-$1000

Damn..see idk if ill have the $$ to put into a fuel system. May have to bump the shot down even more to like a 100-125 shot and just do a GT pump. On that note; are twin pumps a bad idea in a gt tank?

Cuz this is the list:

6061: 235
Nitrous: 1000 (roughly)
Fuel: 200 (just gt pump)
New tires: 400 (NT05s)
Tune: 350
Install: 500 (estimate)

Just don't know if the money will be there to do the shot i want. Cuz if i put all that money into a fuel system then if my rear decides to poop on me then im screwed.

Guess ill just get the 6061 and talk to my tuner some more come spring and see what all we need to do.

Wheels are stayin as they are for now haha

EDIT: You think a 98 cobra tank will work (bolt up, sumped, everything)? They come w/ hats that accept dual pumps?

since you've already got one GT pump you could see how much this would cost by you piecing it together by yourself, but here:

http://www.lethalperformance.com/03-...pgrade-p-34710

in this case the stock fuel lines are what limits you to 650rwhp.. upgrade the fuel lines/rails and you can definitely pump out 750+
