I have H&R SS and hp blue shocks and struts on my 02 GT and my car rides like garbage. The rear wheels are 18x10's with 295 tires on the back and it eats rubber off the outside cornors every time I launch the car, go over a bump, or have weight in the trunk or back seat. I love the stance but I hate the ride. It looks like I need to roll the fenders a little bit but I am trying to find a better solution first. So many other people have the same setup with no issues but mine rubs bad and i cannot figure it out.

Since you have 17" wheels then you shouldn't have the rub problem like I have.

You should check out Vogtland. Thats what I have, they are specifically great for vert's the drop was 1.6 right in the middle. I really like mine, I know they aren't the two typical name brands that you hear about but do some research, you'll see.

I've always been paranoid of springs due to scraping. How much of an issue is this with H&R SS? These are the only springs I would go with.

I have never had any scraping problems with mine. I'm sure that will all change with my longtubes coming soon but hey, it comes with the territory. Bottom line is, don't drive like a dbag, be cautious and you'll have no problems.

I've got the H&R SS's, with no isos and couldnt be happier with the way it looks/drives. There's only one place here on campus I cant go through because I scrape, but the other 99.9% of speedbumps I encounter I get over just fine

Awesome. Thanks for all the replies.

I pulled the trigger on the SuperSports. Now i'm just debating to isolate or not to isolate.

Everyone says the install isn't too bad......any tips? The front is intimidating me for some reason. The whole compressing the spring with a jack. Plus I don't own air tools.

Nice. I feel good about my choice.
