Default First mod since the S/C in Sept.

Nothin crazy. MAC O/R H. Will go nicely with my catback. Enjoy. Not getting it retuned, just gonna run with it. Why is the passenger side flange welded but not the driver's side? Gonna use a Ford pass side gasket instead of the supplied MAC one. Hopefully i'm not wasting my money.

That's how they all are. The passenger side manifold is different than the driver's side one. And I went to Auto Zone and got a Fel-Pro metal passenger side gasket with no leaks as of yet.

If you are doing this yourself, have fun on the passenger side. That top O2 sensor is a real pain to get to. Cut my arm on the pre-cat reaching my arm up there. PB Blaster and an O2 sensor wrench made things a lot easier.

Post a vid of what she sounds like when you're done!

Its gonna be loud, thats for sure. Ford gaskets are the only ones I'd use on the passenger side flange. There are enough problems with aftermarket midpipes leaking at the manifolds. Using ford, never had a leak once.

It's not welded to better fit your bolt angle. It is going to be SICk. Since you have an 03 before you finish bolting it up, look out for the front passenger side bend coming into contact with the corner of the firewall/floorboard.

I have notice it's about 50/50 for touching the floor.

I suggest to snug up the passenger side pipe first as that welded flange will set the angle and layout of the rest of the midpipe. Then snug on and move the driver side pipe around. Once it's how you want, tighten the passenger flange down then the drivers side, then work your way back to the drivers ball and socket flange then flanges to the CB.
