Yes you are fine getting COP cam covers. When searching for covers remember some 97 and all 98 Mark VIII had the COP covers that the C heads have. You can usually get the VIII covers cheaper because they aren't associated with the Cobra name and people think the Cobra parts are made of gold. Even though they are identical except Cobra are Silver and VIII are black

But the linc heads don't have the badge of honor!

I thought about shopping for those FRPP blue cam covers but they are QUITE spendy. Prolly paint them someday.

I plan on having the COP covers custom made with something "cool" machined inside them. My powder coat guy can now powder coat plastic he tells me, so... I will have to test that out after I get the new "valve train covers".

Bumping an old thread rather than making a new one.

I could've sworn at one point I saw a pic, possibly on svtp, of a b-head engine with 99+ cam covers. The owner just had to modify (remove a small secton of) the COP cover plate to allow the wires for the b-head's stock ignition to enter the cam cover itself.

This is what I was hoping to do myself.

I'll try to find the thread, maybe someone here has it, but I'm not on my computer very often so it could take a while.

They will bolt right up, but I dont see why youd want c head VCs while still running wires?
