I just put plastic plugs in mine and painted them until I decide to get a saleen spoiler. You can't really tell that they're there unless your up close.
I did this last summer, then I got bored of being wingless and put my spoiler back on. I bought the plugs from Lowe's. Any hardware store will have them. They're just like little plastic caps that come in different sizes (the holes on my decklid were different sizes, the two front were the same and the two back ones were a different size from the front ones). You may have to look around a while in the hardware section to find these little guys...
My 2004 GT decklid has only 4 holes. Pretty sure the two are 3/8'' and the other two were 1/2''. I don't remember, but that sounds right.
yeah thats right i think. op should just go to lowes, get nylon plugs then paint them the color of your car, then youre set and can go back whenever you want

I know mine is metal. Still with proper body work "filler" and a good sealer, then paint, you woulnt see it. But its hard to find someone who can do proper body work.
