Tunnel exhaust video
#28
The Flip camera has it's place. I spent almost $200 on a sony handheld camera with a flip out screen thinking it would be great for zoom and exhaust videos...WRONG! The mic was sooooo bad and would crack recording the deep tone of exahust.
Went to BestBuy (after looking on youtube for video reviews, visual/audio quality) and found the Flip for around $80. It sucks for zooming, and a lot is to be desired in low light/indoor situations but the recording quality is pretty good to me, can do 720p HD
I took this with a Flip having the camera 10-15 ft away and not once does it crack:

For small/handheld and not much bigger than a cell phone, it works pretty well.
Sony on my GT:

Flip on my GT: camera was inside my garage (which would make the possibility of cracking worse)
