Default EGR delete

What all would i have to buy? I know the kit but anything else? And how do I do it? And what are the advantages of it if there is any? I am going to be installing LT's this month and heard some people saying to a EGR delete at the same time?

This is a can of worms and I'll tell you right now that Cliff how is twice as smart as I am will completely disagree with me.

There is absolutely no harm in deleting it. It wont affect your tune and it wont affect your MPG. I challenge anyone to give conclusive proof otherwise. It works out great on paper then it helps lower the combustion temps yadda yadda yadda... I have yet to see a single car have to have something changed in it's tune or get bad MPG from deleting it. Remember though it also doesn't help. This is a purely aesthetic modification to clean up the bay.

I didn't buy anything I don't think, maybe two bolts. I made a blockoff plate out of some metal i had sitting around, then used RTV for a gasket

ohhh ok thanks man. I thought it actually did more then just clean up the engine bay? And what about the tube that goes to our drivers side valve cover? I was going to take that off and put a breather on it. Can i do that too?

I bought the EGR delete kit from lethal, had it installed when my ARH longtubes were installed. It really cleaned up my engine bay nicely! I seem to get the same mpg's that I did before I did it.
