i wouldnt run with traction control on i tried that and it bogs your engine down to much. For the rpm question what size tires are in the back and any gears?

the tires in the back are 245/45/17 kumho's that are a soft compound and stick rather well the gears are stock in the rear end for now looking at .373 or a .410 soon though

Turn traction control off when at the track.

And learn to type a proper sentence. Adding periods and commas aren't difficult.

LOL Yes, please with some punctuation. Long bodies of text without any punctuation is annoying to read.

Traction control at the track is never a good idea (unless it is snowing). You will have to experiment with rpms to see what works with your gear and tire package. I suspect rpms in the range of 1500 will be slightly better than leaving off idle(800rpm).

That sounds like a correct rpm range, just practice on the street when your tires let loose. Hold your rpm range just below that and you should do fine.
