Default SCT X3 TUNER??? just came today

so my tuner just showed up today and i just loaded the performance 91 oc tune to my car and im going to take it for a cruise after dinner. but my question is how does it know its an auto??? was not a question when i bought it from am, nor a question when i loaded the tune, and when i go for a cruise what am i going to notice now? from before

I assume you gave AM the ECU code off your engine, usually 4 digit code, and it will be able to tell based off that.

Franchi is correct. I thought the same thing you did until I asked Bama and they told me the computer code tells the diff between auto or manual.

You will definitely be happier and then wonder why you didn't buy one earlier too. It firms up the auto shifts a lot more than the stock tune.

ya it definatly did stiffen the shifts, and higher rpm shift points. love the change in throttle response also. now i really need throttle body and plenum. ALSO can i turn off traction control all the time and shut off the damn seatbelt buzzer?

What rpm are they having you shift at?

how do you turn it off..and i really didnt pay attention i belive around 4k or higher. didnt really get on it the wife was with and she freaks out if i try.
