Which fuel pump?
Ok guys, to start off i have a stock '04 GT, the only upgrades i plan to do to it are exhaust, gears and a tuner! I was noticing some hesitation in the car while driving, i took it to a buddy of mine for some routine maintenance and while changing the fuel filter he noticed it didnt have a lot of pressure on it, did some tests and what not to it, long story short, he told me the fuel pump was probably going bad. Well ok, thats fine i'll just get a new one and have him replace it no problem. so i go to fuel-pumps.net and search for my car and it has 3 different types, one of which is HP which i have no plans of getting, the other 2 are "OE" replacements but both look totally different from each other. Which one do i get?

If I were replacing the pump because it went bad, I would get one of the SVT Focus pumps for it. The install is a simple drop in replacement, but it flows more volume so if you wind up needing a little more flow later down the road, it is there. The price for just a pump without the entire basket assembly is around $75 from a local parts store.
Just my two cents...
GOOD LUCK!

I got one from www.highflowfuel.com It's supported my vortech just fine. Other wise like said the svt pump only is a good way to go. Most people pay close to $200 for the svt fuel pump becuase they buy the complete basket for just the pump.
