Suspension work???
after my lowering spring install lastg year i noticed a clunking sound coming from the right rear of my car when i went over bumps, so i replaced the quad shock and both rear shocks and made sure the pigtails were both facing the right direction and it was all fine but still makes the clunkingsound. but now i want to get front struts because i havent got it aligned yet since and noticed a little inner tire wear. so cc plates andstruts now. i got monroe shocks from oriellys my question is should i just get monroe struts also or get tokico. or another kind. but i dont want coilovers.
Prior to doing ANY mods to ones ride.....

My recommendation is to figure out what the "clunk" is before you start changing other parts. Things like CC plates WILL add new NVH and make it that much harder to figure out where you are getting clunked!

It may be the springs aren't seated properly. Not facing the wrong way, but it is sitting on the iso or where the spring sits along the car. You could check bushings too.
I had this problem on my mom's car when I did her front springs. Given it was a Volvo, but there would be this clunk due to me seating the spring improperly.

If you lowered your car, but got shocks not intended for a lowered vehicle then you are most like hearing the effects of a shocks slamming all the way down. I would make sure I had shocks and struts made for being lowered.
