Talking FINIALLY modded the mustang

Hey everyone, I finially started modding my Pony, Just took me 3 years to dive in!
Thanks to everyone that has giving me input on where to start.

FRPP 4.10s
Cobra/GT500 Carbon Fiber clutch packs for differential
SCT Livewire

and while it was there:
New IAC and trans mount

The tuner and gears really woke it up, I have been reading and studying everyones posts to the pros and cons of doing these mods and I must say, I waited WAY to long. lol

I also purchased OPTION 2" lowering springs, MM cc plates and poly isolators, but have since decided against lowering my car due to area I live in and roads I must travel.

So I have this lowering stuff for sale if anyone is interested.

Congrats! Gears and tune are the 2 best basic mods you can do for that car.

You may give into those lowering springs. I didn't want them because of the snow and driving into the city to see my girlfriend. But now, my cars getting lowered this summer. It took me two years of starring at a 4x4 to start getting bothered by it.

I will say I have drove it quit abit, and it will take some getting use to. Engine RPMs went from 2200ish to 2600-2700 at 70mph. Pulls much harder than the 3.27 it had in it.

No more one wheel peel whoo hoo, I had all my fluids flushed about 2 years ago and the place I took it to put 80-90wt back into my diff thus dissolving my friction material.
A$&*@$.

I agree with you JRad, I have been staring at the 4x4 look for several years, but there are places where I already drag getting into, I have to take an angular approach, and not to mention dirt roads that require my presence from time to time..

Maybe I'll kick it around at a later date. lol

Ok guys, so here is a lowering question then,

Do you have issues with getting the shop lifts, floor jacks etc under the car if it has been lowered? that was one of my fears if i decided to lower it. not to mention high centering on a tater tot at sonic.

I lowered mine with the vogtland springs with a 1.6 '' drop all around. Even though I dont think it dropped as low as stated or what I wanted ..... but my lift at work instead of me using the smaller pad extension I may have to use the pad/arm depending on which lift I use but no problems . Just read your M/M instructions well a little confusing. Depending on which way you place the top plates dictates how much +/- camber you get. I put the plates on the wrong side and had ALOT of negitive camber and had to switch them lol
