Default so what hid's you guys use?

Lookin to put some hid's in the headlights and fog lights. I have stock 04 smoked headlights and smoked cobra foglights about the same tint as the headlights. What kits and bulbs do you guys run? Don't need anything ridiculously bright like you would for the blacked out lights some of you guys run but would still like to be better than stock. I was thinkin about like a 6k for both. Also where did you guys find good deals on them?

Thanks,
~Danny

I have Stangmod's 8000k kit...bought them years ago. They work well...had an issue with the wiring harness recently but they sent me a new one to correct it at no charge.

I have a set of headlights that I had retrofitted from the retrofit source. I have 6000k in them. I don't like HID's in regular housing because all they do is blind I think. They don't give a crisp light line like this.

I have DDM Tuning HIDs. They've been nothing but trouble for me. I seem to be the only person who has any trouble with their products though so...

Prime, how much did they run you if you don't mind me asking.

what troubles are you having with DDM HIDS?

The retrofit came out to right around $700 for new lenses, projectors, and all. I went with Infinity FX35 Projector so theres areas to cut the cost of some of the materials

People have paid over $1000 to them done by some one else. A cheaper way to get the same light out put kind of is to buy a set of after market projectors and get an H1 HID kit for them.
