You need more info into your lacking post.
Saleen is a GT with a body kit, supercharger (hence the 281 SC), much improved suspension, much improved brakes and a much nicer interior.

Saleen:

Supercharger: optional

Suspension: Not that much better, just very stiff

Improved Brakes: optional

Nicer Interior: Unless you think the standard Saleen interior with a Badge or two and different floor mats is much nicer, optional as well

Cobra:

Supercharger: standard

Suspension: Much better and standard

Improved Brakes: Standard

Nicer Interior: Standard

Not to mention a much better engine and drivetrain, once again standard

Both will be about the same price with similar miles

Dang, where was I? haha. $10K is a bit of an exageration, but I only use that because the only 1 i've seen in a while is an old add on svtperformance forum and the guy is asking $32K or something like that, bone stock. there are zero on autotrader and i'm new to these forums and haven't quite figured out where people post theirs for sale.

not new to mustangs, i've just always had a thing for Saleens...then these Cobras came along and stole the show. I still love the S281's plus finding the Cobra I want is proving to be nearly impossible equals debating on giving up the SVT and looking for an easier to find S281. I've been searching for nearly 2yrs with no reward.

Get the best of both worlds..Saleen Cobra! Good luck finding, or affording one though...

Let me correct your screw up.

The Saleen he posted about is an S281SC (which means the blower version, like I put in BOLD)

Saleen
Supercharged 2V
Full suspension that will out handle a stock Cobra hands down
14" 4 pistion brakes
Saleen interior (Saleen leather seats, trim package gauges, dash pod etc...)

Cobra
Supercharged 4V
Stock suspension will beg for aftermarket upgrades (how many Cobras do you see bragging about stock suspension?)
13" 2 piston brakes (which though good, SUCK ***** compared to 14" 4 piston)
Cobra interior (heavier nice leather, same comfort, cluster etc...)

So really, it comes down to if the 400 hp 2V is enough power, or if you'll need more than that.

Even if the Saleen is the SC version, it doesn't come with the upgraded brakes as standard. And on ones before 02 the interior didn't come standard as well. And how many people do you see asking for an IRS swap? Must be pretty good if they didn't just want to throw on some Racecraft suspension parts and call it a day.

And I did notice you said SC but I was comparing base model to base model, as even the N/A version was close to price to a Cobra.
