Default Alignment Kits

I decided on lowering my car and I figured why pay someone to align your car to that spec you need when you can do it yourself. Does anyone know of any good kits out there that I could pick up to do it myself?

I'm not trying to save money by doing it myself, but I don't want to spend $500 on one of these things either. I just thought it would be cool to learn and then use if I ever got into AutoX and wanted to readjust my camber for it.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SPS-91000/?rtype=10 - something like that is good? Do I need more?

And do you need more stuff like special tools. I just figured they have bolts, so a wrench would work. I'm going to be doing this on MM CC plates (if I do it). And as of now I have no idea what to do. I'll probably read more on this during the weekend to really figure it all out.

I have used that tool, but many years ago. In the modern age I pay a shop with a full alignment rack to do it.

They can make adjustments down to 1/10° (which your really cannot do with that tool), can do it with you sitting in the car (that's how I always have mine done), and also verify thrust angle which you cannot do with a 4-wheel rack.

The shop near me told they need the specs. I might let them do it because I just want stock specs.

Most shops have a lifetime alignment deal.... my friend owns a tuffy and they offer lifetime alignments for $125. You can go in there whenever you want at no charge.
