new exhaust set-up
#11
Just different types of sound.
Flows have a more hollow sound, but when combined with an O/R X they make a terrible sound. The straight thru mufflers have a more poppy sound and don't respond poorly to the O/R X.
I'd like to try Stingers or Magnapacks, but I can't see changing to mufflers that would require me to install my catted mid-pipe. The net flow couldn't be any better with that set-up, so I am not likely to spend the $560 for only a change in tone. I like the sound of my current set-up pretty well. I would love to get a little more pronounced cam sound at idle, but can't tollerate a LOUD car for normal daily driving duty.
BTW, I think your new set-up sounds pretty decent.
Enjoy!
