4.10s are great. my buddy had 4.30s in his 94 he liked it but it was a little too much to shift every two seconds and he eventually went with 3.73s cause he does road racing and autocross and he was topped out in 5th all the time. The 4.10s are plenty to put you in your seat imo.

5.0 and 4.6 are different animals.

I'd stick to 4.10s and just be done with it

4.10 for sure. But really depends on what you are wanting to do with it? Even drag racing 4.30 is just going to spin 1st and 2nd pretty bad, hell a 4.10 is pretty hard to hookup even on stock power.

my car will see both drag/autocross racing soon, I just haven't been able to go cuz of school and my they clutch. I kinda wanted 4.30's to be different but I guess there is a solid reason as to why 4.10's are a popular choice, it's cyz it works well

NAH go with like a 2.90 pro cut gear, that would be different.

Also, 4.30's will be noisier than 4.10's, because even the FRPP 4.30's are motive gears. FRPP 4.10's are either a Ford part or are a Motive part. As long as there is an "A" at the end of the part number and not an "M", its a Ford gear and will be quiet.

4.10's or 4.88's...you choose.

And who cares about being "different" go with what works and F the haters

I wanted FRPP 4.30's but when I found out they are motive gears, I said no thanks and will be going with the FRPP 4.10's made by Ford. AM carries the ones made by Ford, just FYI.

oohhh didn't know about the noise factor. I don't want a whine everytime I shift, it'll drive me nuts, hmmm thanks guys for the input.
