+1 same here in MI. I was recently looking at 04's gt's with 40-60K, and they're in the $10,000-$12,000 range.

okay that deal fell through. as expected but anyway. so i found another one possibly an even better deal its a 2005 v6 with only 74000 miles. 5 speed its in wv which is nice cuz its only about 2 hours away. got magnaflow cai diablo sport tuner and also rousch lauvers on front and quarter windows. rousch hood scoop as well. i got him down to 8 grand on it. also would you have any advice where to get a good person to person short term loan? thanks for the help guys!

I wouldn't buy a v6 mustang unless it was a 2011. That's just me... Get the loan from a bank? Where in PA are you?

Those sixxers are not bad cars...pretty peppy. Seems like a good price....is it priced similar to other vehicles like it in the area?

That said I don't think a cai and tune will be enough to overcome the power deficit to beat 'a 04 gt'.

as stated before, dont go with the six bro! (unless its 2011+) it'll take a lotta money just to make it feel close to a GT! (keep in mind i said 'feel,' not 'beat' or 'be faster than')

actually i've seen alot of videos on youtube of drag races where the v6 actually beats the older gts. also, according to the numbers its only about 1-3/10 second slower at the quarter mile (depending on the source) so i could see that being possible. plus you get the better gas mileage to boot
