This weekend I installed a Vortech V2 s-trim kit I built using the $1500 supercharger thread. All said and done, it was about $3200 as I bought a brand new s-trim. I couldn't find a well priced used one in a month of searching and grew too impatient with the parts pile in my room.

Ended up making 375 rwhp and 348rwtq non-intercooled with the 8lb pulley when he pegged the stock MAF at 5k rpm. Apparently the car was cammed and I didn't know it (had suspicions but was never 100% sure).

Now I just need to get a 90mm MAF, intercooler, and a powerpipe.

Congrats on getting supercharged.... but I'm slightly worried about you if you didn't realize your car had a set of aftermarket cams... or they must be some really small cams with a high LSA.

It sounded like it was cammed but as far as I know there is no way to check the cams without cracking into the heads.

sounds like your heading in the right direction with the i/c, might as well go smaller pulley too, oh and you may want to look into the vortech mini race bpv your stock bosch wont be enough if your still running that....just dont get too power hungry

Ok ill look into getting a mini race as well. My goal is to break 400 to the wheels. Once I get there i'm going to work on the suspension. Just not sue if I want it set up more for the strip or for twisty roads.

Congrats on the sc. Good numbers so far. I am sure with ic and smaller pulley you will make your numbers. I am working off of that thread too. Found the head unit and a vortech aftercooler. Need to get a few more things before I tear into the car and bolt it on. Unfortunately a few unexpected issues came up so sc budget is a bit tight. If all goes well it will make a nice winter project.

How much of an upgrade would I need on the bypass valve? Would this be sufficient?

Or would I need to go with this?
