Headed to the dyno for the first time ever
I have an appt at 9 am for the dyno.Just want to see what my car is making since I finished my 4v swap.I have a stock 96 cobra engine with a JLT CAI on it.My exhaust is BBK LT's,BBK catted X,and Flowmasters.I'm running it on the GT tune but the MAF and injectors are stock cobra items,so there shouldn't be any issues with them working together.Thought it would be neat to get some predictions on RWHP and RWTQ.So let's hear some numbers.I'm sorry but I don't know which brand of dyno he has.

The numbers are dissappointing to me.Best run was 260rwhp and 261rwtq.I'm not very happy about them.I really need to get a tune.I'm prob leaving a good bit of hp on the table. My car is running very rich.AFR average was 11.9.My rey limiter shut down at 5150 rpm's which is surprisingly low to me.The hp/tq were steadily rising when the rev limiter kicked in.I'm hoping after a good tune to gain 30 rwhp.I think another 1200-1500 rpm's will def help and getting the afr will help too.Maybe 30rwhp is asking too much from a tune.Sorry I can't really help you Moon but once I get a tune I should have some better numbers for ya.

What are you guys with 4v's gaining from 5100 and up?When do your rev limiters kick in?My tach said 5400 and his dyno said 5150.He was getting his reading right from the crank itself and said it was very accurate.Just wondering how much it's costing me.

With a tune and the proper RPM I think 300 is in sight, peak horsepower on my SCed is at about 6400 rpms. After inspection of my dyno sheet my AFR stays between 11.6 and 12.0.
