Unhappy Help: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Hey guys... I could really use some guidance/help here. My check engine lights come on. I just got back from O'rileys and using their code scanner. Two codes came up:

1. P2272

O2 sensor signal (stuck lean - Bank 2 Sensor 2)

2. P0060

H02s heater resistance (Bank 2 sensor 2)

Really appreciate it. Thanks

To me looks like you have a bad O2 sensor (bank 2) or a short at wiring to O2

So if I fix it... will that take care of both codes?

Also how do I know which 02 sensor?

Thanks

bank 2 sensor 2 is the driver's side rear 02 sensor. I have seen harness for the 02 sensors get pinched by the cross member and exhaust and cause issues. So double check the harness before you condemn the sensor itself

Interesting, so the code isn't the passenger rear o2 sensor? But the driver's side (only asking because someone else told me it was the passenger). Just wanna make sure whos right and whos not.

They were wrong, bank 2 is the driver's side...

Yup, That's where to start, but remember there are no sure things.

If the issue persists after changing it out, you have more serious issues that will need real diagnostic.

Remember to clear the codes and give it some time to re-learn idle and cruise before expecting it to settle in.
