I've been told on this site time and time again that a simple drop in K&N air filter will do the trick just fine.

That being said, unless you buy it off ebay they run you about $50 sum bucks. The last few months American Muscle has been running specials on CAI for V6's for like $59. Had it been for my car I'd have been pissed knowing that for around $10 more I could have got a shiny, under the hood, "visual-mostly" upgrade.

What I would do if I was you would be to hold off for a while and see if you can find a good deal on a CAI. They are nice to look at once you start cleaning up your engine bay. If you get sick of waiting go on Ebay and buy a $30 something K&N air filter.

I have the one that came with my car and I'll sell it to you for $20.
