Default Looking to Buy

I'm looking at getting rid of my truck (has 462k miles on it) and getting another Mustang. I used to have a 88 5.0 but I totaled it on snowy roads going to school. Anyways!

I have found a 2004 SVT Cobra with 43k miles on it. It's white in color and has no dents, dings, scratches, or paint fades on it. Non-smoker and never driven hard as it was owned by an old man (early 80's). It's a Supercharged 4.6L and it sounds mean. It has aftermarket racing seats in it and a Magnaflow performance exhaust. It appears to be lowered but I'm not sure and did not ask the man.

What's the price I should be looking for, in a general range? Money isn't really an issue as I've been offered 10k for my truck at a local Ford dealership.

Sounds like a good find. Cobras are going for around 20k here.

03/04 cobras are very desirable. They came with a supercharger, forged internals, irs and a 6 speed all from the factory. Also they respond great to mods.

You might want to check out the svt section of the forum as well as svtproformance.com

Hope this helps and Welcome!

I was talking to the guy and he said 13k sounds good to him. If you say they can go for 20k, I think I'm going out for a test drive and going to the bank first thing tomorrow morning.

13k is a KILLER deal for a Terminator Cobra with 43k miles! They can go for that much with 85k miles on them easily...

New transmission and overhauled engine. KBB as it sits is still almost 10k. That's not counting the overhauled motor and new transmission.

I'll get some pics up real quick as well.
