I have a question for you guys, i am having difficulties to fix the tracktion control switch since the "OFF light" is not turning onn or off even thought i press it. I can tell the diference when i hit the gas but i would really like to fix this problem. thnks

I even tried it in my friend's mustang and in his it did worked. the light turned off once u press the switch but on mine it doesnt. Is it a factory issue???????

 

The t/c OFF indicator is an LED switched on or off by the instrument cluster's microcontroller, electronically connecting or disconnecting it to ground.

Since the switch worked in your friends car there is either a wiring problem between the switch and the instrument cluster (it's a black/light blue wire) or the driver in the cluster's microcontroller is blown.

With the key in the RUN position there should be 12V between the pink/black wire at the switch and ground; you might want to check that just to be sure.
