Default Bullitt Swap into 2000 GT

Since my engine went out, Im looking to replace the stock 4.6L with a slightly bigger motor such as the Bullitt engine. I have a couple questions. Will my stock GT tranny work with the Bullitt engine? What else would I need to complete the swap? And also I live in Montebello, CA, does anyone know any shops in the area that specialize in Mustangs so that they could do my swap if I do get the engine?

Thanks in advance,

-Carlo

Any idea where I can get a regular GT 4.6L? 2000 or newer.

R.E.T. is the closest mustang specific shop. They do mostly performance. You never know though. They may have an engine from a customer or something. Theyre located in downey i beleive. You could also check out GTR which is in Rancho Cucamonga. You could also just get your engine rebuilt.

Would you ever want to put a S/C on the car? If so just find a block and build the bottom end since it's already out. Just something to think about.
