Default Same thing as a J-Mod???

Is this kit from AM the same thing as doing the j-mod???
the kit and the jmod say they do the same thing,
Tire chirping shifts
Strong, positive, crisp shifts
Perfect for street and strip
Extends Transmission Life
Transmission removal not required
Fits 1996-2004 automatic V6, GT and Mach 1 Mustangs
There is only one review on AM so just wondering if anyone on here has bought the AM kit, thanx

no it's not the same. the jmod is free. you dont put in any new springs. thats basically a nonamed shift kit. IMO just spend a tad more, and get the trans go kit.

The few top 4r70w trans builders I have talked to don't recommend Trans Go kits. I had one thought it was decent. I wouldn't buy another one because I would go with a J-mod VB.

Yeah I've heard alot of people say go with the jmod. I just don't wanna drill the wrong hole and mess anything up or buy a valve body with the jmod already done for around 300 bucks. I was just wondering if those plates from the kit are drilled out like what they do in a jmod.
