Default Engine Bogging but No CEL.

Car pops a little @ idle & has what feels like a miss to it. It has done it for a while now. The car stills pulls decent just feels like 7 cyl @ 80% power.

So far i have done compression test, repaired vac lines, new plugs and wires, fuel filter and F.P.Regulator(F.P.was reading low @ test). of which made my car run great for a week but then same symptoms.

1-3rd pull good with slight stumble and 4th needs to be above 3000rpm to not buck during acceleration.

Should the coil packs be my next check? Car is not throwing or pending any DTC codes

Im not totally familiar yet with modular fords, but I had a SBC that did this and it was a bad knock sensor ready false counts and pulling and adding timing all over the place.

Could be a bad coil pack, vacuum leak (cracked intake), fuel pump going south. If you cant figure it out instead of bombing it with parts take it to a place that can properly diag it for you

It could possibly be the fuel pump, with the price of gas i have been tending to let it run close to E alot. I'm going to clean my MAM and check the coil pack i believe could be bad this evening.

I will post back with any changes
