Default Scored a set of C heads!

like the the title says, i scored! been looking for a set of c heads for a while and found a 01 complete set for 250 within driving distance! so now my 2v parts are going. now trying to deside weather or not to keep my vortech or go with a eaton. i've been looking at some eaton 4v dyno grafts and the torque responce at 2,000-2,300 is crazy!

I'm just going to leave this here. This is with an Eaton. 400rwtq BEFORE 2500 rpm and until 6000 rpm.

Here is a PI head 2V with the 4V Eaton swapped onto it and a proper set of cams. This car might make you rethink a 4V swap:

That graph always amazes me. Just shows how important it is to properly spec your cams.

Thanks. From my experience up to the 600RWHP point a set of proper cams in 2V heads gets it to 4V power levels and many times past especially with blowers. Above 600RWHP the 4V is still the better way to go though.

Nick, what are the cam specs on that Eaton blown 2 valve, and how much boost is it pushing?

Those are the blower stage 2 and 2.5 cams. The stage 2 made more power than the 2.5 by a lot. I forget how much boost he's running.

Oh wow i see that now. Both MHS cams, but the 2's outran the 2.5's at every rpm. Very nice. I guess it goes to show that bigger specs are not always best.
