Default Solid clutch quadrant... which one?

I'm getting the firewall adjuster but which quadrant is better? Based on what I read I think using a factory cable is best, but do all 3 of these work with the factory cable?

I was thinking of getting this one:

But wanted you opinions on these as well:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/stqureclqu.html

http://www.americanmuscle.com/stdohoqu.html

What are the plus' and minus' of each? It's a DD street car; going to be running a stage 1 clutch.

In my expereince and on 3 cars, the only quadrant that has worked with a mofidied stock cable is a TRIPLE hook quadrant, UPR makes one i think its around 40$.

Steeda's 2-hook quadrant will work with the stock cable as well.

AFAIK the only reason UPR made theirs a 3-hook unit was to avoid a patent pissing-match with Steeda--I have never heard of anyone using the 3rd hook (the one farthest from the firewall).

OP, the quick release quadrant will noticeably increase the required pedal force--that's the price paid for the quicker release...

Ok I don't need the quick release on a street car then. So Steeda or MM? Whats the difference if any and which one would you guys recommend?

The MM is a single hook quadrant which can be difficult or impossible to use with a stock cable.

You can get the UPR 3-hook quadrant for $25 to $30 depending on which you select.

So they lie when they say you can use an OEM cable?

What do you guys think of this firewall adjuster vs the one at AM? It's half the price, but does it serve the same purpose?

And what the hell is this? Do I need this spacer?

Basically, yes...

I take it you have not purchased a lot of aftermarket parts?

There is not one bit of rocket science in any of this, they are all fundamentally the same--they just do what they do in a slightly different manner...
