i know but im trying to swap my bent rod 98 engine for a 2004 gt engine and keep my 98 transmission because im on a tight budget, but idk how to do it or what i need in order for this to work

Nobody is born knowing this stuff. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty, and make sure you do your research.

Mess it up=learn to fix it, you will just be on a steeper curve since it is your daily driver.

yeah i agree but since its not running it shouldnt be too hard to mess things up. BTW could you view my posts? i put up a few topics and i hope for any form of advice since im trying to swap out my 98 engine and put in a 04 engine in but keep my 98 transmission do to budget
