A magnaflow resonator sounds pretty good. I think a bassani catback sounds the best with a catted x pipe. If youre gonna do an exhaust, just get the catback system though. Ive gone through all of the weld in mufflers, and gone through many different exhaust combos. Look on youtube for different brands aswell.

I have Flowmaster Super 44's and I love the sound. Has a nice deep idle and sounds good, and I also had my rear cats removed. Everyone that's heard it likes it and says it's loud, but not over the top loud. Mine were welded in to the factory piping. No problems with it.

I would suggest going on youtube and viewing some sound/video clips to find the "sound" you like. I have magnaflow's "magnapacks" and i'm happy with the sound. It's not to loud to **** you off (if you trying to talk to a passsenger, or have a headache) but has a nice throaty sound when you get on it. I'm being biased though, never had any other system.

ps: You're going to have to cut the current mufflers out if you dont get the catback system so welding might be needed, it wont be a "bolt on". I would save for a catback system.

Cheers,
