I thought this discussion was about a fairly stock GT, not a blown cobra. Oh Cobra dude was just bragging I get it.

I don't have a cobra.

Nothing is wrong with your car. Its how gears work.

is this a 5sp or auto? if 5sp, something may be wrong if it's a BIG difference. but if it's an auto it's all normal. mine feels slow as **** when it his 3rd even when i'm spraying.

If you car is a 5 speed, the engine doesn't give a crap what gear you're in, it just goes ***** to the wall until you lift your foot. To me it sounds like it's in your head. Get a vid posted up of your car doing a pull from like 60-100 in 3rd and everyone here will tell you if it seems slow or not.

Its your gears doing their job. Take a look at a stock/relatively stock 4.6L GT's dyno sheet and you will understand why it feels like that.

Take a video and we can all tell you immediately if its normal or not.

Not bragging just being a smart a$$ and yea I have a 600 hp cobra nothing special I would rather have a 400 hp car that I can drive all the time rather a 600 hp car that I never drive.

I think 99GTvert either sold his Cobra or sold his KB kit off of his car, but I could be wrong. For some reason I am remembering him making a huge change to his car recently.

Car is still as it was when I bought it i want a turbo for it but can't justify it
