Blower cams SHM 2
#22
IIRC all MHS cams are good w/ stock valves & springs up to stage 2. i'm running stage 2 turbo cams with the "stock mod" valves (well, 7 out of the 8 are, 1 is a completely stock valve) which are just stock valves ground down a tad, and there was 0 issues.
i think stage 2.5's & 3's are where you need either notches or modified valves or both...

^got ya, well theres some good info for ya rockwell if you decide to go MHS. I'm sure Nick wouldnt mind explaining everything as well. Whatever you do and read on here, DO NOT buy CMS stage 3s without notched pistons lol. I read all over the internet that you dont need notched pistons or valves, so I didnt do either. When trying to degree them I couldnt even turn the motor over because of PTV contact. I stepped down to the 2's and wala.

IIRC they are not required, just helps clearance so there's less of a chance to run into PTV clearance problems, and i think they flow slightly better too. as i said, i'm running 7 out of the 8 as nicks "stock-mod" valves, and 1 is a completely stock valve. 1 got bent, so i just swapped a stock in its place, i called him before i did so and he said it was perfectly fine to do so.
