Default WOT spuddering

2000 gt
when im low on fuel (before my low fuel light come on) my car spudders at wide open throttle, but today it did it 2 times at 1/4 tank of gas, any suggestions what i should look into first?

It makes sense that its doing it at low gas..try not to let your car run that low on gas to the point it does that, its not good cause the fuel pump will be sucking air. Also i know my gas gauge sometimes says i have more than i have cause of hills and such. Trying putting a full tank in your car and then try it. If its still doing it. Its probably time for new spark plugs and wires. Sometimes its just wires or just plugs. But if you're doing one, why not do the other

When have you last changed the fuel filter? What about spark plugs? The 99-04 doesn't have wires so that isn't an issue. I would do normal things (plugs, air filter, fuel filter) first just to rule those things out. A top end sputter is usually from worn plugs.

i did not know the 99-04 didnt have wires.. you learn something new everyday
