Default Dyno run with and without powerpipe

The shop that does all my work had a dyno day today so we thought we would see what kind of gains a powerpipe makes. We ran my car with the stock Vortech intake and then tossed on the powerpipe.

First video is with the Vortech intake and it made 370.57rwhp/367.88rwtq

Second video is with the powerpipe installed and it made 396.47rwhp/381.04rwtq. So a gain of about 25hp. Not too bad.

Looks like I will be getting a powerpipe.

nice, just goes to show that a power pipe is a great investment for money vs power gained. $200 for 25hp and 20 tq....not bad at all

Yes sounds about right larger inlet more air. Power pipe increases your boost / psi without having to change to a smaller pulley.

Just a larger diameter pipe that goes into your supercharger. The stock intake is more restrictive.

Was the car tuned to the same air/fuel for both pipes? A larger pie would probably lean the car out enough to post those gains to make the difference.
