Thanks guys!
I'd rather have a bug eyed look than horrible glare, if you have astigmatism in either eye or both in my case, you'll be amazed at how big the difference is at night.

My setups a little different than most, my headlamps have been completely rewired and draw power from the battery. I'm trying out new ballasts and bulbs atm, Morimoto 5Five 50w bulbs and Morimoto 5Five 50w ballasts, I was using phillips bulbs and matsu****su ballasts before but didn't like the way they were potted.
Most 35w kits should be fine, cheapo kits are worrisome in that the initial draw of the igniters may be higher than your stock wires are capable of safely transmitting. This isn't as much of an issue with higher end ballasts/igniters since they have proper resistors in place to help control the draw. 50w kits are already rated above what the wires are supposed to be able to carry and a crappy 50w kit can run the risk of melting wires in the longrun.
I'm currently running xentec ballasts and 4300k bulbs in my foglights, I have plans of retrofitting projectors into the foglights as well, I just don't have the motivation/cash/time/interest in my bucket to do it at the moment.

aereon those headlights are about perfect. and I'm sure even with them being tinted, they still offer plenty of light with the hid's. however, I'm sure they cost A LOT. or if you did it yourself, it wasnt cheap, easy, or quick in the least bit. I would love to have real projectors in my car but I'm not gonna pay 300+ for a set of headlights.
