Default Maybe I'm just dumb, Anyone got tips on launching a stock stalled auto?

Well after cruising around the forums, people with stock stalls and minor bolts are running around 13.6's to 13,9's for "decent times"... I ran a 14.5, and a NPI mustang hung with me all the way til about the 1000ft mark last time out at the track, going again friday I believe.

Kind of frustrated, anyone have any tips, ideas?

Last time I foot braked it, I'm going to try flashing friday when I go. We'll see, on the street all flashing does is break em loose, and smoke em. But maybe on the track I'll get enough traction to not do a big roasty every time.

Anything else?

Assuming you still have drag radials flashing should work well.

I went from 13.6x's to 13.4x's from nothing more than flashing instead of foot braking.

I could never get the stock stall to do **** for me either lol, that's why i got a 3800 now.

but agree with above, flash it with dr's and you should be much better off. before my stall i had similar mods to you and got consistant 13.7's.

I know CT, lol, I was reading back in some messages where we had talked about it, and how at the time we had similar mods.. Thats one of the things that made me post this... I'll try flashing it, but the Drag Radials are back on the cobra now that its off jack stands for the time being, so I will have to see how I do on street tires. hopefully no rain tomorrow and I'll get back with the results..
