Default inside door plastic handle pulling away from door panel

on my inside door handles that you pull on to close the doors they are starting to space from the doors. i looked at them and they have molded clips that are part of the plastic handle piece but they dont hold to the door panel. i was wondering if anyone had and good idea on how to fix this or if there is suppost to be a retainer in the door panel or a metal clip on the plastic handle piece that may be missing? thanks for the info

It may be a metal clip missing. I know my car is missing it and it does the same thing. You can buy it from AM or LMR.

I've never had to redo a door panel save for the Acura 3.2 Coupe I once owned, and those were factory recalls. This said, we're lucky here in Roswell, NM, due in part to the number of low riders in the area. One of the local upholstery shops does some fantastic work on interiors. So much so, if you ask any local car dealer, they'll always mention this business. Sort of reminds me of the guy who does Bitch'n Rides' interiors.
